整合製造工程、自動化科技、精密機械、模具、通訊、半導體、影像顯示、材料、資訊、電子電機、醫療照護、教育、服務等學術界、產業界等公私機構及相關專業人員之專長與力量，成為智慧自動化與機器人技術交流及異業聯盟之平台，並促進國際交流，加速智慧自動化與機器人相關產業之發展。
